Hi the rubber pipe on the left side of my valiant boiler appears to be leaking from the top part of rubber it’s about 4 inch long and held either side by metal clips , similar to jubilee but without a tightening screw , is this an easy replace I’ve seen these hoses for like £10 from screwfix...

Is there any usual suspects to look for on the water leak ? And is it something I can try drying out before replace pcb or get a company in ? Cheers for the help

Hi I have a valiant ecotech plus 612 boiler I think it’s room sealed just wanna check as starting a loft room shortly and boiler is fitted to wall one end also is it ok if I build a cupboard around it will leave gaps as required /vents if need be ? Thank you .

Where does it say in regs or otherwise about testing as an electrician would etc? , can only find snippets of this but in regards to building control/notifiable work , can’t seem to find it in direct relation to diy non notifiable works maybe searching for so long is doing me no favours .

Is there actually a requirement for a certificate if it’s non notifiable work ? I understand a qualified electrician Doing work for a customer should cert as your paying a professional.
