    Can you go higher into the soffit and do a 90 deg bend to vent down? You'll need long and bendy arms to do this however... :lol:

    That's where the ceiling goes flat to the 'normal' height, so it's only affecting a 1/3 of the room. I might be wrong though as we haven't moved in yet and it's all from memory and a few measurements!

    Thanks for your replies so far :) Good question, though unfortunately it still means the shower would have to be in front of the window as this is the highest part of the room. I guess if we were to make any compromises it would be not having a cubicle, just over the bath
