Apparently I have a problem with my motor within my Potterton Diverter Valve, in that it is on it's way out, as it's buzzing a lot.
Does anyone know how to replace the motor within it?
Is it very difficult for someone without any plumbing experience?
Thanks
Just to confirm that sometimes it makes a buzzing noise and sometimes it doesn't. At the moment it is buzzing, despite the fact that there are no lights on it and the boiler is off.
I actually never realised there were any lights on it, there are light illuminated now(heating on) but there doesn't seem to be buzzing all of the time(though it just started again), but pretty sure the lights are not normally on when I've checked(heating off).
Hi,
is it normal for a Potterton Diverter Valve to buzz and feel hot, even when both the hot water and central heating have been switched off for a couple of hours.
It seems like it is always on, buzzing. This may be normal, but I didn't think I had ever noticed it before.
Is this normal?
