Washer has been playing up for a while. I unscrewed the black thing at the bottom right of machine (filter???) and water came pouring out. I presume thats not normal? Any ideas? Once I'd drained the water the washer starts.

right, blew down pipe and it's clear, the 2nd light is still on (reduced creases) so do you think its the pcb?

When it's filling up with water the reduced crease light comes on. Sometimes it doesn't even work at all and if you turn it off at mains for a bit then try again it'll come on

That's great I'll try it tomorrow. Does it come off at the end as well? Then I can make sure it's clear

can anyone tell me how I get the pressure pipe off so I can check its not blocked?

Is the pressure pipe the grey coloured pipe attached to pressure switch? Where is best place I can buy a new pressure switch? Thanks x
