Thanks for the reply, funnily enough today both the CH and the HW are working. I'll take a look at what you suggest

My Greenstar HE Combi boiler is playing up, we get CH but no HW. In fact when I turn the CH off at the thermostat, the rads stay hot, esp (or so it seems) if we run a hot water tap. From what I've read this looks like a diverter value problem. What can I do myself (if anything) to fix this. I...
