Thanks for the reply. Are motor brushes easy or safe for someone not good at DIY to attach from the drum to the motor or would you recommend getting an electrician to do it?

Thanks all, I think I'll get the silkaflex to glue it together. Would get a new part, but I'd be worried about it breaking off again and don't think I'll ever need to cut it back open, but if the need ever arises I'll look into getting a cheese wire.

Hi all, So the front part of my dishwasher has been falling off from time to time the last while. Often I've been able to fix it by pushing the interior handles into the holes and then pushing it up to click in place from the bottom, but the other day it seems one of the interior handles broke...

Thanks for all the advice, I've managed to get the starter cord loose by bringing the handles together, and put the top half of the long handles back on. Got my lawn cut now and happy to relax the rest of the day.

Thanks all, I have the bolts for screwing on the loose handle but I can't move it up any higher as the hole the part you pull for turning on the lawnmower is stuck to it tight and I don't want to risk breaking it. I may bring it back to the store and ask if they can help then and there.

It's like that one yes. Pardon my ignorance. Would anyone recommend leaving the immersion on CLOCK all the time or ON for a few hours to see if the heat comes? As I say it used to take no more than half an hour.

The immersion uses oil from our tank to heat the water, radiators and the house.

It's usually a humming sound, like air is circulating fast if that makes sense. I have attached photos of where this sound usually comes from. Hot press is where we have our hot water tank and washed clothes we want to dry. Not sure what's the name for it outside Ireland. Problem is after...
