Looked at a very tidily done caravan site metre room today and noticed that the metal-enclosed fused isolators all had the phase and neutral tails entering and exiting the metal enclosures through seperate k.o.s (no slots inbetween). Otherwise, the installation looked remarkably well installed...

35A, yes. I know they were about some time back (industrial use?) but dont see much of 'em now.

Hello folks, Found a BS88 35A (20kA breaking capacity) being used on a shower circuit in a house but there aren't any loop impedance readings in the regs to check against. I didn't see any info regarding type on the fuse. Can they be used in domestic C.U.s & if so where do I find the max loop...

Thanks for your replies. No tests have been done yet as I just had a quick glance at it today. Would it be unusual or indeed unacceptable to have rods on a TNS system?
