    Help with Texecom ComWifi

Thank you for the reply. I have a Premier 48 panel with software 9.x (that's what I use in Wintex with the USB cable). The comwifi is plugged into the COM1 socket. At the keypad I have done the following... 7 (UDL/Digi Options) ---> 7 (Setup Modules) ---> 2 (Setup IP Data) I programmed in...

    Help with Texecom ComWifi

I'm hoping that someone will be able to point me in the right direction here as I'm stuck. I'm fairly up to speed with technology and IP addresses, etc. I have a few IP cameras that I set up myself and can view them remotely no trouble (port forwarding set up OK). Comwifi module installed in...

    Help identify Texecom Panel

Thanks once again. I tried to connect to the panel using Wintex but it won't connect (wrong panel type or UDL password). For the UDL password I used the engineers code that was given to me (and works on the keypad). Is it possible to default the UDL password?

    Help identify Texecom Panel

I have recently purchased a commercial property which has a Texecom alarm installed. Is it possible to identify the type of panel from a picture? I have some experience with Texecom having installed one in my house a couple of years ago so would like to get it working. Cheers...

Potterton Suprima 80 HE - help please!

Thanks for the replies. It turned out the be the thermister on the flow pipe - a new one fitted and all is good. It seems the boiler was reporting the wrong error via the flashing lights. I replace the pump as I followed the fault finding flow chart provided with the boiler - this said to...

Potterton Suprima 80 HE - help please!

I'm at my elderly parents for Christmas and their boiler is playing up. They haven't been able to get someone out so I've had a look at it to see if we can get some heat in the house. The boiler is locking out and then resetting itself in a constant cycle. The flashing lights indicate a...

    Texacom Premier Questions

One final question - I promise! I've tried to keep everything neat and tidy in the panel and have labelled all the cables. I also have spare cables running to the 1st floor for when that gets re-decorated and I can put in a few more sensors. I have even put in a telephone cable between the...

    Texacom Premier Questions

Thanks - this is my first alarm install and my only previous experience is with the old Accord and it didn't do this. I now have the alarm working as I want it, including the extra zones. I'd like to say a big thank you to all who assisted in this thread and sorry for the stupid questions!

    Texacom Premier Questions

I got the USB Com working. For anyone who stumbles across this thread in the future, when you install Wintex onto your computer it drops the latest drivers onto your c:\ drive. The ones that worked with windows 7 were in C:\Program Files (x86)\Texecom\Wintex\USB-Com\Windows x64. I just...

    Texacom Premier Questions

After school club..... So I disconnected the rear bell and tested the black/yellow wires for continuity - they were fine. So I reconnected everything as I had and it has now started working. Perhaps I had a dodgy connection somewhere. Thanks to all for your help. I can now move onto...
