I was taping the joints anyway with foil back tape just wasn't sure whether the screed would attach the insulation in any way
I put 1 in under the concrete floor I now have 150mm to make up to ffl
75mm insulation 75mm of screed
I'm of the understanding I still need a secondary dmp
But am unsure of the positioning

basically im almost at the point of starting to get the flat roof on my extension its going to be a warm deck sandwich design
i have 5 sheets of 100mm kingspan left over from a previous project which i intend to use and plant a 50mm sheet on top of this bringing it upto 150mm...
ok just been looking at the strada tables for flat roof joists
its saying the maximum span for a 47 x 220 joist at 400mm centres for maintenance and repair only is 5.34 m
as my clear span of joist is 5150mm according to this table a 47 x 220 is sufficient
does anyone else go by these tables...
