thanks un sure will try that, does anybody know who's "the Ideal Man" sig is? is he an ideal engineer? might know of an easy way to remove, drain etc. thanks to all who took the time to reply :)

thanks so far, the model is a NF80 don't know if this will help. the wax stat is on the top right side on the flow outlet pipe. held in place by two large nuts.

does anybody know how to test a wax stat think mine is sticking causing overheating problems (only happens in CH mode) all advice gladly received
