I'm sure the 6mm cable is more than sufficient. What about the cable between the oven and the Double Pole switch ? There is a gas hob above the oven and the manual recommends heat resistant cable up to 85 degrees.

Hi, I've just bought a new electric oven rated at 3.15KW with fuse rating of 16Amps. What size cable do I need from the consumer unit ? My old oven used a 6mm cable, can I just use this with a 16Amp circuit breaker.
