I think you have answered your own question with that line....Spending all that money, I think you have to go the extra mile and replace those buried pipes. For peace of mind if for nothing else. I know it hurts to spend on a heating system. I have just had to replace a boiler less than 3 years...

Just as a footnote the quote is 1,499 quid to upgrade to fully pumped which includes new tank, power flush etc etc..apparently the price of a powerflush (about 500 quid) is built in to the combi quote....the guy said "free" but some how that dont quite add up...........also gas man says my heat...
