Pipework? I can't see any pipework inside the fridge. But it looks like there may well be pipework between the interior and exterior (behind the back wall) of the fridge which I assume is where coolant flows. I wouldn't have thought that was blocked because it is getting cold so coolant must be...
Hello,
It's less than three years old and its kept in the kitchen.
I've been doing some research and others have similar symptoms on other branded fridges (e.g. Beko) with the fridge having a rectangular frozen section on the rear wall which is exactly what I am getting.
The problem appears...
Hello,
I find if I remove the ice from the rear wall, it slowly returns. The fridge still functions ... but food ends up being spoiled because it ends up bring frozen rather than just cooled.
So are you saying the insulation around the fridge is no longer functioning?
One thing I have...
Hello,
I have a Logik Fridge LFC50S18 (it's Curry's own brand fridge freezer with the fridge on top).
Recently the back wall of the fridge compartment started developing ice - to such an extent that the contents of the fridge become frozen.
The top surface of the fridge has the light and...
Bit the bullet - got BG to do it. They diagnosed that the PCB needed replacing which they did and everything was back to normal. TBH BG have defied my expectations and were very good. In fact, they have spotted that the inner flue pipe carrying combustion products has been leaking onto the metal...
SSE don't cover my post code unfortunately.
Homeserve: £300 for a one of repair
BG: £99.00 for the repair then £22 per month for 12 months = £363 total (includes a service and no charge for other call outs)
AA: £199 for the repair then £9.99 per month for 12 months = £318 total (includes a...
Well, strange things have happened since I last posted.
I turned the boiler off overnight and in the morning turned it on to find a flashing "C1" code. I turned the boiler off and then back on again - C1 disappeared and I was back to my original FC fault (hot water .... no programmed heating)...
As an update, I contacted WB who stated that flashing "FC" indicates a comms problem between the motherboard and the "Text Display" (either the PCB , "Text Display" , coupling ... or presumably all mayy be faulty) i.e. the PCB can'r "see" the Text Display. When the boiler was installed, a non-WB...
Hello
It's been a little while since I last posted - that's because I've had not problems since last time!
Anyway, last night I noticed that the heating was still on when it should have stopped some time ago. I went to the boiler to find that the 2-digit display was flashing "FC". The display...
I spoke with Clive on WB technical - quite friendly and willing to help (whereas a guy I spoke to earlier didn't want to tell me anything unless he had his lawyer beside him advising him what to say) - he advised not to bother with their £210 fee and go with somebody local who would do it...
Thanks for all the replies - was convinced everybody would be in bed!
yep the bottom part of the airbox is rusted - I suppose acidic water meeting steel won't do it any good at all!!
The rusting looks bad (gives the impression its been happening some time) but I suppose the acid speeds up...
Hello,
i have a Worcester Bosch HE 30 Plus Combi that's been working fine for many years.
Yesterday I noticed that there appeared to be some water leaking onto the digital control panel originating from within the boiler case.
I've investigated this (by removing the outer boiler casing)...
