    yes you are right it is currently located between the two brass bits, I will take off the screw and turn it, but before I do it can I just ask is there no way to turn it with taking off the screw? for example push in or out then turn?

    thats the one!! your a genius!! but I cant seem to turn it, do I need to push it in and turn or do get a flat headed screw driver and turn the screw in it to turn it. It has two groves on the end of it & its on six at the moment what setting should it be on? I must thank you for your help...

    No I dont think they do mate!! but you can always ask at screwfix or look through the catouloge!! the push fit will sort that olive problem for you!! hope you get it sorted!!

    no havent got nothing like that at all just a blue knob on the hot water pipe going directly into the cylinder itself, would this be put else where in the house?

    thanks mate will try that, have you got any ideas how I can turn the temp on the water in my taps at the moment its boiling hot. There is a blue knob on the hot water cylinder with a screw in it currently its on 6, dos this adjust the temp if so how do I turn it? will take photos in morning...

    yes mate!! they are on the opposite side, they should turn usually have a plus & minus sign on it. Try turning these but dont fully open them just enough to get them hot. The system works when balanced, if you turn one fully on, this one will take all the hot water & give a little to the others...

    you are quite a lucky man!! I have 8mm pipes & nearley got into the same prob as you the other day!! but they dont do push fit in 8mm but I managed to sort it!!     have you tried turning the TRV's down on the ones that are hot, have you checked if the valves are open on the cold rads?

    you cant remove the olive sorry!! thats the design of this damm things once on you cant get them off unless you cut the pipe. Try using ptf tape as suggested this may work. Alternativley cut the pipe right next to the olive then buy some push fit fiitings you can buy them in 10mm from screw fix...
