Extractor fan - position by bath or shower?

We have a 3.5m x 2.5m bathroom. Door and shower unit at one end (2.5m) and bath and large window at other (again 2.5m wall).

Where is the best position to mount an extractor fan? I have repeatedly read cut furthest point from door but in my case this is the furthest point from the shower.

I have the option to wall mount on bath wall or the 3.5m wall. I could also roof mount.

Mount in ceiling use a split hose and two intakes, one over the bath one the shower.

So two inlet vents, one loft mounted fan and one outlet vent?
