This is an odd request but do not know who to ask.

Over the past couple of years from April to July we find these little things behind furniture and under the bed, especially in one room.
They are light in colour and about 8/10mm long, they really look like seeds.

Any ideas as to what they maybe?

Can't see the pic's very well but the months are about right for woodworm beetle but they don't normally grow to 10mm more like 5mm.

If you're going to post the same question in two places it's polite to mention that in your posts, so that people don't waste time answering in once place when it has already been answered in the other.

@Bosswhite - not sure what these are but they don't look like carpet beetle. Wrong shape + the larvae are less than 5mm, brown, and with fine hairs, and the adult beetles are a distinctive black with white markings and about the same size.

@RP66 - could well be. Have a look at http://www.derbypestcontrolservice.co.uk/moth-control.html and look at the photo of an infestation.

I've had to deal with carpet beetle before and used an insecticide called Pro-Active C, which you can get from suppliers like Pest Control Direct. They also do what they call a "fogger" which fills the room with a fine mist to get anything flying or in places you can't get to - and checking their site, they actually do a moth treatment pack which includes a trigger spray and mask too.

From that photo that is what it seems to be, so thanks for the info.
