The house I moved into has an alarm panel on the wall, and PIR sensors in a couple of the rooms. The unit doesn't work and the sensors don't activate. I never got any information from the sellers about the alarm system.

Is it worth trying to repair/fix or just rip out and start again?

Is it dead ? Down powered or still lit up ? If it's a G4 then it's not that old , it may just need a battery and a reprogram

The LCD panel in the hallway appears dead - no lights on. No idea where the main system is - will need to hunt it down.
