window / doors

Good afternoon
Do BCOs need to check the window / door reveals before windows & doors are fitted?
Im building a small rear extension & still working towards getting the build to the pre plaster inspection stage & have the roof on, but didnt want to put the window & door in, in case they need to see the reveal first!
Any advice appreciated.
