Just wondered what you guys thought about this new A-HD CCTV system and whether it's possible to use some existing D1 cameras along side some new A-HD cameras recording at 720p?

No but use TVI by hikvision 720 or 1080 over coax or cat 5 and you can also use your standard cameras on the same machine inc 960h, plus you can add an IP camera to it
 
hoping to go to a roadshow soon and have a closer look at this TVI, only problem is like ford model t but its white instead of black
 
Know what your saying about the cameras ! Just tried some grey ones from dynamic cctv ( standard 2.8-12mm eyeball domes ) probably made by hikvision anyway

You rate dynamic cctv, seem helpful but not yet a fully fledge customer of theres worried about the distance.
 
have to admit sometimes I think of one guy and his mates sat making everything from a certain location in the world.
 
Been dealing with them for around 20 years never had any issues, only ever sent one item back in all that time and they replaced it no with no fuss! Good warranties on most items
 
Seems that AHD DVR currently supports 720p HD resolution, and can work with both AHD camera and analog camera.
