Just had the roof redone, slate taken off, a new membrane put down and slate put back down again. New lead on both chimneys and was all finished 25th January so had a fair few rain showers since and no leaks i'm aware of. However, just had a very heavy rainfall with some snow/sleet and have a slight leak coming from someone on the front chimney. Roofer coming back Wednesday to water test and have a look but just thought would put something on here and see if there is anything anyone can see that he needs to concentrate on? The water was coming down the wooden beam in the loft and a bit against the wall highlighted in red and dripped a bit on the insulation below and have highlighted on the chimney about where the drips where showing themselves but water could be coming from anywhere I guess. No marks so far on internal walls as have a converted loft bedroom
Again it wasn't a lot of water considering the weather but still shouldn't be getting in.
