well he quoted £450 labour £500 materials i found him on mybuilder.com and he has good feedback and done some work on the rioch arena the coventry football stadium so cant be bad.

i no it includes the hardcore and dpm but not sure on others

sorry meant its that the hole dug up and filled with concrete the dimensions are 16ft x 18ft basically everything is done apart from putting up the garage.

hi all, ive just had a quote of a mates mate for him to do the foundations on my garage 16ftx16ft and he gave a quote for £3500 which seems alot to me is this a good price??

no nothing big just bog standard hatch back cars and i also restore classic cars but no heavy things like vans or anything like that.plus atm im a big short on cash so was just gonna use the slabs as a temporary thing until i pick up some more cash then ill pay someone to do a full concrete base.

Gday all been reading up on footings for a double garage and usure on how far to dig down for the footings?the garage is 17ft wide by 16ft long.also if i was to get someone in to ig the footings and do the concrete work what price range should i be looking at?in case i get lazy lol :) thanks J
