    I moved in in 1998 and got upvc changed from external to internal glazed in 2003. Will check some old bbq photos to see if cracks were there prior to this yr.     Noticed cracks in the rear wall, above the kitchen window and across the lintel, does it look like subsidence ?? We do have clay soil around here (Wirral) and Ive recently had a massive tree removed which was about 20 ft from my house and pushing up my path. Cheers

    Thanks, looking at various ones...cant seem to see "corded combis" though, seem to be corded drill/hammers although some of the them come with separate cordless screwdrivers which come with the aforementioned batteries. Im looking at something that does all 3, but corded...any recomendations ...

    Ok, cheers mate, i'll probably try and stick to the original plan as we're on a limited budget. Actually, I was thinking, is there not loft boards that have some sort of silver backing ? that could act as an insulator, save putting loads of insulation underneath the boards. Thanks again
