L shaped shower screen leaking on corner

Hi. I've recently had a l shaped bath and shower screen installed. All is ok except for a slight leak on the bottom seal on the corner piece. The screen has a small glass return on the "L" of the bath. At the bottom the straight edges have plastic seals, on the corner there is a separate...

    cistern internal overflow too short

The flush rate is at maximum already, the cistern almost empties when I flush. As I mentioned previously, if I block the overflow and add more water I get a good flush. As the cistern only holds 6 litres when full, being 2 litres short is giving an inadequate flush. I'd rather not replace...

    cistern internal overflow too short

Ok, my syphon is similar to this - http://www.screwfix.com/p/fluidmaster-push-button-cable-dual-flush-valve/51173 but it hasn't got the height adjustment on the overflow pipe. If I fill the cistern just short of the overflow level I am about 2 litres short of water! I need to lift the...

    cistern internal overflow too short

It is a syphon flush and it came with the cistern so I don't understand why it is too short in the first place, perhaps whoever fitted it cut it shorter! Would my idea of gluing an extension to it not work, I'd rather do that then replace the whole syphon.

    Pad handle "on latch"

Hi, When I had my old wooden front door replaced for a UPVC door I specified a pad handle to replicate the functionality of the Yale lock I had. It works great apart from the fact that there is no way to put the lock "on the latch" like you can with a nightlatch. I'd like the ability to...

upvc front door not closing fully

Hi, I have recently replaced my front door with a upvc door from www.u-fit.com. The door is great and much better than the old wooden one I had but I have a couple of problems with it. Firstly, I found that the opening side of the door was dragging slightly on the floor but after...
