sentinel x200 and x100 have i done it right?

No, I thought I'd wait for a response before putting in the x100. I didn't realise that a filter would be needed/useful. There wasn't really any 'sludge' when I rinsed the system the first time, just dirty water. The rise was a precaution rather than an attempt to fix a problem as the system...

sentinel x200 and x100 have i done it right?

I've recently emptied my system after circulating sentinel x400. The packaging says "thoroughly flush through ALL drain points". I checked all of the radiators and found only one drain point, emptied out the system, let it fill and emptied it again. When I went to switch the boiler back on I...

No lights on Potterton Suprima 30

No lights on Potterton Suprima 30

I have a Potterton Suprima 30 connected to a boilermate II, they are about 11 years old and today I had no hot water. The boiler isolation fuse is fine and there is electricity leaving the isolation box. There are no LEDs illuminated on the boiler and I tested the 'mains' in to find no supply...

Working ballcock REALLY needed for F&E tank? (Boilermate

I recently noticed a dripping from what I assumed to be the overflow form my Boilermate II. I (mostly) emptied the F&E tank, gave it a wipe down and then realised the whole time the ballcock hadn't been trying to refill the water. On closer inspection it looks like I have previously (and I'm...

    Boilermate II problems

The heating pump does not come on when I switch the heating on. Does this definitely mean it's the pump at fault or could it be some other problem(i.e. "on" switch not sending power to the pump correctly)? The pump does seem very hot to the touch if that means anything. Is it a...

    Boilermate II problems

Hi, I was wondering how you go about checking if the Central Heating pump on a Boilermate II is working? I have recently lost my central heating, but the hot water is fine. The analogue timer on the Boilermate is still counting round, does this mean that this is not the problem? Thanks for...
