I've recently had a Potterton Lynx 2 serviced and since then have had the following problem: When switching the hot water tap on the boiler tries to ignite the gas but nothing happens ( can see the ignition sparking okay ) and so the boiler requires resetting. After resetting it usually works...

Thanks for replying Chris. However, I reduced the pressure to just over 1 bar and it seems to have done the trick.

Hope you can help. I've got a Potterton Lynx 2 combi boiler. Just had it serviced and was told it was in reasonable condition. Last week it lost pressure so I refilled it to 2.5 Bar ( loses pressure about once every 6 months ). This caused minor leakage for a while but it has now settled at 2Bar...
