I managed to solve my problem by emptying the machine through the filter on the bottom right hand side of the machine. I fished out the 1p and two bits of the broken underwire part of a bra and low and behold - when I put it to drain then spin - it worked :D

my washing machine is holding my washing to randsom - end light flashing and wont drain or spin - part of underwire bra missing - think has some involvement in lack of machine working - anyone any ideas??
