Demolishing is out of the question. It's very expensive to get an approval from the municipal council. Now what would take to reconsolidate the house? What should i check first? The foundation? The walls? The attic? The roof? How should i check it/them? What should I be aware of?

There are hardly any DIY communities .ro and for the laws, as long as i don't modify the building foundation there won't be any problems. Actually before making any visible / serious changes i would consult the law.
