Loud vibrating noise when using tap, and also randomly?

Just out of interest (as I'm trying to learn as I go) why does it vibrate when the tap is not in use, but something else is using water?

Nope, I'm not a plumber so I have no idea what that is...

Loud vibrating noise when using tap, and also randomly?

Can anyone suggest a cause/solution to this problem? When the cold kitchen (mains) tap is turned on there is a loud vibrating noise. Sometimes the noise also happens seemingly randomly, but if you turn the kitchen cold water tap on then off it goes away. It also tends to go away on it's own...

Where can I get a replacement sink like this?

I've been tasked to replace the following sink which is built into the counter top. The taps have apparently been leaking for years and the sink has a gross amount of limescale built up. Ideally, I'd like to find a sink of the same size and shape, so I can just swap it out. I'd really rather...

How to best fix this piece of copper pipe to connect to basin tap?

Yes, but not to worry, I can wait until tomorrow. The tap is isolated so still have water to the rest of the house.

How to best fix this piece of copper pipe to connect to basin tap?

I've just changed over a couple of basin taps, and cut a couple of isolation valves into the pipework while I was there (a good idea as it happens as when I turned the water back on and opened the value the hot tap sprayed water everywhere!) The problem is the compression joint that goes from...

Hot tap flow slows to dribble

I used the downstairs feeds for the washing machine (I disconected one of the flexible pipes, then screwed the other pipe across both the hot and cold taps. Then I turned the hot on half, the cold on half, the hot on full and then the cold on nearly full - then left it for about 30 seconds...

Hot tap flow slows to dribble

ok, I've done some further investiagation. The problem also seems to affect the most of the other taps, but they take longer to slow to a dribble as they seem to have a much smaller flow than the bath tap. I've tried blasting the mains through the hot tap, but it doesn't seem to make any...

Hot tap flow slows to dribble

Hi, sorry for the delay, I just got back. ok, I took a look at the tank - apart from the water in and the overflow there are 2 other pipes at the bottom of the tank (one small, the other larger). Although there is some debris at the bottom of the tank the 2 holes seem clear as far as I can tell...

Hot tap flow slows to dribble

Hi, I have a problem with the hot tap on my upstairs bath. If I turn the tap on full the water comes out at a decent rate - to start with. After about 5-10 seconds it graduallys slows down to a dribble. The hot tap on the sink seems ok, although not a great flow, but if the hot bath tap...
