Hi I;ve got an old back boiler (sorry not sure what type) and I've recently had all new radiators and so I had to bleed down the system. Since this we have no h/w, the timer is fine and when the hot water is turned on the boiler fires up and appears to be heating it...... it just doesn't get to...

about 4am there was a crash from downstairs, we went down to see what had happened and the inside pane from the double glazing had shattered, no damage to the outside pane!!! Any ideas on what might have caused this???? :shock: :shock: :? :shock: :shock:

Long story short, had to drain my system down to replace some radiators & internal stopcock, now i've got no h/w. Boiler is firing up fine, and the water is gravity fed. hellllpppp. thx :cry: :cry: :cry:

Hi i've got a Landis and Gyr very old timer which is a bit dodgy so i'm looking to replace it. Any ideas on what type of timer to buy. It has manual on off, once, twice settings for both heating and h/w but the actual timer thing that turns round is broken. Also when the central heating is on...
