I am not sure about a mk1 but like i said i had to remove the complete suspention on my left hand side and the disc come off quite easy without any brute force.... But then again i have a mk2 mondeo.

i am guessing on this but your central locking box might be broken causing this problem.... I know on an escort its behind the instrument pannel on the right hand side.. Not too sure about a mondeo tho... I am also not sure if the central locking box also does the immobilizer as well.

Depending on what condition the disc is it shouldnt be to bad... I just had to replace the while left side suspention on my mk2 mondeo.. I would say use a hammer to tap the disc on each side to see if it free's up...... If you dont use to much force you should beable to use the disc again :-)

I undone the clip for the sump and found a sock and some very defaced money LOL i guess its been blocked for a little while.... Anyway i will let you know if the problem has been sorted out :-)

OK i have tried looking at the grey hose and it looks like its connected to something on the right.... I guess its a pump or something because there is a big black hose coming from the drum... I know the i had 2 missing paddles and it decided to shew up some socks t-shirt ect and thats why...

Hello i was wondering where the location of the drain pump also tub to pump hose and also that small ball is is i have the same problem! It would help me out a great deal! Thanks Jay
