Boiler was in house, new, when i moved in christmas 2004. Started this year got worse. I checked condensate trap, as i say then flushed and filled the trap. But banging started soon after again. Thanks for your help.

The flue comes out the top then has 90* bend then goes out wall. Bang was quieter after i filled u bend in trap but back to full bang again. Neighbor had a word with me today.

It bangs very loudly everytime it fires up. I dropped the plastic condensate trap, it was dry I flushed it through but nothing came out. Did you get any joy with yours?
