Would appreciate someone one checking over these images and my thought process on how I would go about replacing some copper heating pipes if needed please. https://imgur.com/a/0WY8aTU I'm currently, in the middle of stripping our dining room (~200 year old house, brick walls no cavity) and on...

    First time laying laminate

Thanks for the info. The laminate has a thin green foam backer. It's this stuff https://www.goldenselect.ca/en/laminate/french-oak. Will I still need some sort of damp proof underlay?

    First time laying laminate

Going to start laying some laminate flooring this weekend in the living room. The floor at the moment is concrete with 20x20 cm tiles on top. Not sure what material they are made from, sort of plastic like, but they are about 2-3mm thick and well stuck down. The floor seems to be pretty level...

Am I best running the pipes down the left of the window, which would keep the pipe runs smaller or going down the right of the window in the corner of the room?

    Living room radiator, how many?

I did actually use that calculator, but my problem with it was that it didn't take into account if you had a stairwell in the room going to a landing, so didn't know how reliable it would be. Think I'll go with the 2 radiators, would be nothing worse than finishing the room, then realising...

    Copper Push Fit

The system currently uses copper pipes so assumed copper push fit would be more suitable also 2 of the fittings would be going on a wall and be plastered over, again with copper being smaller would be better? Thanks

    Advice on radiator piping

Hi, I have a couple of questions and need some advice. First off, I'm in the middle of renovating my house, and need to move a radiator to a different wall. I've put a pic below showing the current piping to said radiator. Piping is currently 15mm into 10mm to the radiators. The two pipes...

plugs and screws for aquapanel battens

Thanks, but from what I've read about aquapanel, you are not supposed to dot and dab, it needs a gap behind it for air to circulate, hence the need for battens.
