F26 after replacing valve, help please!

I can do, but I would have liked to hear experience from someone on here! I expect my plumber will not no the cause of the issue.... and will guess at trapped air, or just keep charging me to replace thermistors, and other bits. I’m not in very good health, and hoped someone on here might give...

F26 after replacing valve, help please!

As it was at the top of the system, there was very little water- so the plumber did not drain the system down.

F26 after replacing valve, help please!

Two way port valve that is underneath a motorised head. The valve stuck open a bit and constantly called for hot water, so it was swapped out. (Copper valve? I hope this describes it properly !! Thanks

F26 after replacing valve, help please!

Sorry to trouble you all. Replaced the copper valve under the motorised head yesterday - but the Glow-Worm hxi 38 boiler now gives an F26 code after a couple of hours. Bled all the rads and no air in them. the code book mentions return temperature thermistor- but it seems very coincidental that...

    Ticking from fuse box!

Thanks for the advice. Can the dimmer switch be making the fuse box tick?

    Ticking from fuse box!

It just does it for the three wall lights that are wired together. Can turn on everything else, but no ticking in the fuse box, until I turn on wall lights. They are connected to a two gang two way switch in one room (dimmer which doesn't work well) and a single switch at the other end. The...

    Ticking from fuse box!

Hi all. I have ticking coming from one of the trip switches in my fuse box ! I have just finished an extension where the sparky "tagged on" a few led lights to the upstairs lighting circuit. By a process of elimination (turning everything on and off) I have isolated the ticking in the fuse trip...

Hi all, I'm in Haddenham Bucks (between Aylesbury and Oxford) and I'm hoping to find a renderer for my two storey extension. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks, Spike

Please help my id my render and suggest how to duplicate for extension!

Thanks for the reply buddy. I meant to say that the "paint" top coat has a rubber texture to it. I now realise that it must be a silicone paint of some type - my neighbors led me to believe the rendering was all sprayed on in one go and not painted. I guess it must be sand cement, Tyrolean type...

Please help my id my render and suggest how to duplicate for extension!

Hi everyone. My extension is plodding along, but I am concerned about matching the render. I am hoping the plasterer can sand and cement base, and then put on a cream tinted silicone type of Tyrolean (or whatever it's called these days!). The existing render top coat (2007ish) has a silicone...
