Many thanks, after trying for about 4 hours from inside I managed it in about 30 mins from outside.

I am also trying to fit a roof vent and am not sure whether to somehow remove tiles working from inside the loft or to work outside and remove the tiles from the roof. Very grateful if someone could advise me.
