    Refreshing bathroom tiles

I'm giving my bathroom a makeover, and want to clean up the existing wal tiles. They're 60mm light blue in colour with white grout between. I say white grout, but it's turned a nasty grey colour and I want to whiten it or replace it. I tried scraping out the grout, but it is rock hard and I'm...

    Hinari Microwave Oven

Thanks, breezer I've managed to find a supplier on-line, Signals UK, and they were also able to supply a replacement posistor for my TV. The microwave works fine now, so I'm hoping there was nothing wrong beyond the diode.

Then there are two wires connecting to a component housed in a shallow metal cylinder bolted to the rear of the motor over the motor...

    Electra WD1100 washer/dryer problem

While the machine fills with water at the beginning of a cycle, the drum is meant to turn the clothes over intermittently. The problem is that the motor starts to turn the drum, but manages only a quarter turn before giving up. Opening the back, I am able to help the drum pulley around...

    Condensing Combi Boiler

I'm having my old Thorn back-boiler replaced shortly, and have been recommended the Glo-worm 30cxi. I own a 3-bedroom brick-built end-of-terraced house, and we are four occupants. Does anyone have experience of this unit? I'm concerned about annual service charges and repairs in them...
