    No air in the rad. Have applied a decent amount of pressure to try and turn it, will only shift slightly either way. Am I right in thinking both valves should be turned anti clockwise?

    towel rad is cold valve is stuck can't shift it any ideas please. Rightly or wrongly I've squirted WD40 to see if that would work but to no avail. Tried using the valve cap to turn it, then pliers but no joy.

    Flame port. Thanks for your reply I've contacted a local fireplace supplier they supply and fit but have said they can only connect to the socket in the corner they cannot fit a FCU as they don't have the qualification required to do it. In your opinion is a FCU essential?

    from what i can remember i think the guy who serviced it used panels from elsewhere and patched it up as best he could. do you think i should get it serviced and see what results from the service. it was last serviced about 18 months ago
