The Limescale etc. accumulates around the undersized plate the plug fits into.

We treasure a Reginus wash basin which has a standard waste fitted. it wasn't the original and leaves a gap allowing lime accumulation. It needs a waste ring 2 1/2" wide(as opposed to 2 1/4". Anyone know of a sigt which could provide this.
