    air pressure switch

Like I said, I'd figure it out - didn't take nearly as long as anticipated - no wonder you are all so protective - charging so much to fix a simple switching system - that's all it is - makes no difference if its fans, motors, valves or solenoids, its just a switch. Just thought that someone...

    air pressure switch

You are trying to insult me but this is obviously way above your heads - I am looking into the electronics of the PCB to find out the switching logic - need to learn a bit more than "its part of the ignition sequence" - maybe some of you change things until it works but a fault on a PCB will be...

    air pressure switch

thanks - I was looking for a bit more detail though - if the aps allows the fan to start in the first place without any air pressure from the fan, surely the air pressure from the fan will then switch the fan off

    air pressure switch

please explain the function of the air pressure switch - obviously it allows the fan to start so does not rely on pressure to run the fan but it changes state when it detects the fan running - is this correct? it then switches the fan off - yes?

    Ultimate 60FF circuit diagram

Yeah, you're probably right they won't want anyone fixing a board for pennies when they can sell a new one for over a hundred pounds. Oh well, I'll just have to work out the circuit from the board / component layout. Thanks anyway.

    Ultimate 60FF circuit diagram

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the PCB in an Ultimate 60FF. I know the board is faulty and could buy a new one for £130 but the fault will probably be a single component and none of the components on this board would cost more than a few pence. Thanks

Draw the circuit out from the board layout

    Ultimate 60FF not lighting

Can someone tell me the sequence of operation of a boiler? The fan starts and then turns off as the pressure switch changes state - I presume that the pressure switch detects that the fan is running? Does the supply to the fan then come from another source? According to the manual the PCB is...
