    you never know he might touch lucky i went to a 2001 m series isar on friday the earth pins had not been changed but the insulation boards were spot on. It was on its 4th pcb though and origonal heat ex.

    I pity the poor soul who has to go to a 7 year old icos that has never been touched. Some how i dont think the 80 quid service will sort it. If there is no evidence of the boiler being serviced on a yearly basis iam sure they can walk away(not 100% on this though)

    best turn it off mate looks like the insulation boards have failed and its burning through the heat engine. At the very least a new heat ex is required not sure what a fixed price off Ideal would be but i would be looking at a replacement boiler. There is a photo on here of the damage that...

    Got to agree with bengasman, what were his reasons for disconnection? It may of well been spilling fumes into room when tested, cracked heat box broken radiants. What make of fire is it sounds like an old fire if it has no ffd.
