the black wires are in to seperate connector blocks which the lamp holder is connected in 1 lead from lamp goes to 1 black the other lead from lamp goes to other black and the earths are connected. and no the rcd doesn`t trip if i flip the switches

not right now but tomorrow morning i`ll have a multi meter so i can test it but im not certain on what setting i need it on

i just recently bought the place and im assuming it was working as for the rcd it`s working fine if i turn it off cuts all lights to the house as for the switches they look relatively new
