That's true, though I'm not sure why as there are no soffits or air bricks anywhere? Would the cavity in the walls provide enough draught to flow up through the roof space? If the rock wool is properly jammed up, like if there is too much for the gap, then the kingspan shoved in and secured...

Will i need to pack the whole of the gap? Its 30cm in places. Could i use standard fibre/wool roll insulation then kingspan than foil backed plasterboard? Sorry about all the questions, just dont want to regret it in 5-10years time. Thanks.
