Looking at buying a log cabin for the garden, which comes with a felt roof as standard. However, the company also do felt shingles which are half price at the moment - are these shingles worth the extra money? Or will the normal felt do a good enough job? Thanks in advance for any advice,

Hope you dont mind me re-opening on oldish post - just wanted to ask - did you get a log cabin? Considering one for our back yard to run our business from, as there's less room int he house now - just not sure what quality I can expect for my budget, which is around 3k.

I did something similar, and struggled to get it "back to normal". I think it was because of ice build up around the seal, which I couldn't seem to fix by just knocking it off, so I did a full defrost, and it seemed fine after a day when it had reached freezing point again

Just out of interest, what did you build your pallet shed on? Did you prepare some sort of base first?
