Thanks. But it is a K9049, which is the valve that appears to fit the glow worm 38 CF, so it should be alright, I would think? Anyway, I'll find out when British Gas arrive this afternoon!

Basically what happened was, the engineer serviced it, turned it back on, then after about 60 seconds, it went off - but the pilot stayed alight.
