Would you recommend Revit over AutoCAD and if so, is there a free download available for Revit?

Well when I made the choice to live here, was 28 years ago and planning was stricter on certain issues, such as loft conversions. How was I to know this is how things were going to go.

Because it will block even more sky than it legally should. So many loft conversions around my garden, it's like living in the middle of a wood of tall trees. Also windows easily look into my kitchen.

The first and second floor windows do not overlook the garden, but the dormer windows will.

Even if I am aware of the dimensions that have been accepted, I wouldn't be able to judge from just looking up at the build, being 3 storeys up whether the dimensions have been inflated.

Loft conversion underway on property with adjacent garden to my next door neighbour. Planning permission on this build was denied twice but Certificate of Lawfulness issued. Will overlook gardens and blocks out light, is there any course of action open to neighbours or myself?

I should add that we share the freehold of the building.

Sorry didn't elucidate, do I need the permission of the occupant of the other flat in order to gain a Certificate of Lawfulness for an extension to the rear of my ground floor flat?

I live in a ground floor flat in a 3 storey house, which was converted into 2 self-contained flats in 1984. Would I need the permission of the other occupant of the house to enable me to gain a Certificate of Lawfulness?
