The radiators in our new house need bleeding but I am not familiar with the type of bleed valve. It does not seem to have the type of bleed valve which uses a hex key.
I am loath to unscrew things without knowing what I'm doing.
Can anyone help?

I think our motorised valve is faulty. We have CH but no hot water. When the boiler starts the valve whines and then the boiler stops. It has a light.
