Just get a roller shutter contact (the chunky metal ones) I got an up and over door and installed and roller shutter contact on it, just use your imagination when doing things like this. put the reed switch at the bottom or top of the door. They are really easy to wire in and cheap too.

Hi thanks for your help, The diagrams include resistors, I dnt want to use resistors, Also I'm having problems wiring the pa buttons, can I use any zones wires that go into the pa button? Obviously wiring into the zone where the pa button is located. Wiring the pa buttons is a nightmare...

From what I read around the net.. The 12V+ and 12v- to the 12v AUX, and then the n/c connections to the A terminal on a zone and then the T to the tamper. Anyone want to correct me?

Hi, I in the middle of installing an alarm system for my house. I need to know how to wire up the PIR's to the texecom 48 panel, Theres 6 connections on the PIR and I have no idea what goes where to the panel. Im not using resistors im just using 1 wire per sensor. Anyone??

yeah your right the manual does say that but the problem is i cant find anu 8 ohm speakers, only the actual speaker itself (not in case or anything) comes up. can anyone find me a link to an 8 ohm speaker? cheers

I've just been through the manual again and it says the minimum load must be 8 OHM. I think im going to connect 16 ohm in a parallel format.

Hi it says 1x 16 ohm speaker must be connected or 2x 8 ohm speakers to male the total 16 ohm required the panel is a texecom premier 48.
