Replace shed flat roof. Easy to DIY?.

hi all, Have a flat roofed shed in the garden that's been there since I've moved in. The roof is knackered and leaking. How easy is it to replace the felt? What would I need to seal it all? Done slopped shed roofs before but this would need a different method. Thanks

Drilling into external wall just gives white powder. Doesn't sound solid?

Thanks! Never heard of this before. Old place had proper brick. Sounds like it is possible but could make one huge mess with me at the end of the drill. May have to rethink and go into the solid wall. Bit of room rearranging. Thanks again.

Drilling into external wall just gives white powder. Doesn't sound solid?

trying to hang a heavy punching bag onto the wall so need strong anchors. The problem is the external walls don't sound solid when you hit them, and when you drill in you get some white material tha soft like mortar. I've made a a couple of holes and it's the same all the way along. These are...

No vents in flat, damp. Flatmaster or alternative?

thanks, that's really helpful. Think the first job is to get a extracter fan in the bathroom. This is the flat layout I can install permantly open vents in rooms but wouldn't know where to put them. Will try a Google search on vent locations.

New water tank and element really slow to heat?

Just got a new water tank and element fitted as the old one looked a bit rough. Got a local company to fit it. They put in a smaller tank for some reason but I wasn't going to complain as I was thinking "less water = quicker and cheaper to heat" However it's taking more than twice as...
