it's leaking from the screw head you turn to isolate the boiler - is that the spindle part ? could i not replace with a cheaper fitting like a 22mm isolation valve + a bit of pipe re-arrangement ?

anyone tried to repair one ? it seems they are about £40 to buy.

Hi, The flow return service valve under my Vaillant ecoMax 622/2 boiler is leaking badly from the screw. I understand that it's hard to get hold of this part. Is this true ? Can anyone reccomend a source, an alternative replacement or if it's possible to stop it leaking? Thanks for...
