Thanks Leccy758 - the impeller seems fine, it turns as I would expect it to and has a little resistance, so suggests it's all attached ok. How do I get to the pump, do I have to take the top off the appliance to get to the back and I wasn't sure what you meant by seeing what bobs in and out?
