The condensate outlet had frozen and back filled, sent hot water down it and now appears to be working

Hi recentrly redecorated and just replaced radiators, bled the system and all seemed ok, there is plenty of pressure etc. After a while the boiler errored however with code EA, reset several times but keeps erroring. My guess is there is air trapped in the boiler ? Is this likely and if so how...
